Terms and Conditions
By entering into this hire agreement you are accepting our Terms and Conditions of the Hire upon receipt of goods and/or services from SBS Audio Visual.
Receipt includes arrival of equipment and/or staff on an event site, whether the customer is present or not. All equipment hired remains the property of SBS Audio Visual Ltd at all times.
Payment by the Customer on time under the Contract is an essential condition of the Contract. Payment shall not be deemed to be made until SBS Audio Visual has received either cash or cleared funds in respect of the full amount outstanding. If the Customer fails to make any payment in full on the due date we may charge the Customer interest on the amount unpaid at the rate of 8% implied by law under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
The Customer shall pay all sums due to the Supplier under this Contract without any set-off, deduction, counterclaim and/or any other withholding of monies.
The Hirer accepts full responsibility to SBS Audio Visual for loss or damage to or destruction of the equipment suffered during the period of hire from whatever cause the same may arise and is fully responsible for the safekeeping of the equipment and its return in equal order to SBS Audio Visual at the end of the hire.
The Hirer accepts all liability & responsibility in respect of & shall & completely indemnify SBS Audio Visual against all third party claims & losses howsoever arising in respect of damage to or loss or destruction of any property or in respect of the personal injury or death of anybody in any way caused by or relating to the equipment or its use.
d&b audiotechnik V8 Loudspeaker
The V8 is a 3-way passive design housing 2 x 10″ LF drivers, one hornloaded 8″ MF driver and two 1.4″ exit HF compression drivers with 2.5″ voicecoils mounted to a dedicated waveshaping device. The symmetrical dipolar arrangement of the neodymium LF drivers around the centrally mounted coaxial MF and HF components allows a smooth overlap of the adjacent frequency bands in the crossover design. This results in an exceptional 80° horizontal constant directivity dispersion control nominally being maintained down to 250 Hz. The mechanical and acoustical design enables flown vertical arrays of up to twenty four loudspeakers. It can be used in columns of purely V8 loudspeakers or combined with V12s and / or with V-SUBs.

d&b audiotechnik V Sub Subwoofer
The V-SUB is an actively driven high performance cardioid subwoofer powered by a single amplifier channel. The V-SUB features integrated rigging equipment. It houses two long excursion neodymium drivers, an 18″ driver in a bass-reflex design facing to the front and a 12″ driver in a two chamber bandpass design radiating to the rear. The cardioid dispersion pattern resulting from this approach avoids unwanted energy behind the system that reduces the reverberant field at low frequencies and provides the greatest accuracy of low frequency reproduction.

d&b Audiotechnik D80 Amplifier
D80 amplifier is a four channel high power density amplifier incorporating digital signal processors (DSP) to provide loudspeaker specific configurations and functions. Designed for use with all d&b loudspeakers, has both digital and analogue signal inputs as well as link outputs, remote control and monitoring capabilities and sophisticated protection circuits. The D80 is a Class D amplifier specifically designed to deliver high power into low impedance loads between 4 and 16 ohms and utilises a switch mode power supply with Power Factor Correction (PFC) suitable for mains voltages 100 - 127 V/208 - 240 V, 50 - 60 Hz. The signal delay capability allows user definable settings of up to 10 s (3440 m/11286 ft) to be applied independently to each channel. The same applies to the two 16-Digital Signal Processing
