But what if you had the benefits of using a digital DJ setup, whilst remaining true to your traditional turntables? The Denon DS1 Serato Digital Vinyl Audio Interface may be the answer to your prayers.
THE ULTIMATE IN HYBRID TECHNOLOGY FOR DJS
A USB connection is used to both power the unit, as well as transfer audio – making the set-up and operation process nice and simple. The DS1 is an extremely clever unit that allows you to connect your turntables or CDJ unit to a computer to control a digital library. Using Serato NoiseMap and the included Serato SJ software, you can have the best of both worlds. Simply connect your decks (along with the built-in ground connection) and use the included Serato NoiseMap "control tone" vinyl records or CDs to control your digital media in real-time.
BI-DIRECTIONAL INTERFACE
At the heart of the DS1 is a bi-directional audio interface, which features two sets of RCA stereo inputs that allow you to connect turntables or professional CD players. When vinyl or CD NoiseMap signals are manipulated, the Serato DJ software matches the control signal - controlling digital tracks on-screen in real-time for beatmatching, cueing, scratching, and track juggling.
Playback audio is distributed by the DS1 to a mixer or loudspeaker system in studio-grade 24-bit quality, and is capable of supporting 44.1kHz, 48kHz, and 96kHz sampling rates, so your sound will pump out with astonishing clarity. The DS1 is compatible with both Windows and Mac OS X operating systems, making it flexible enough to handle any system set-up. However, Intel processors are required for use with Serato DJ software.
PORTABLE AND HARD-WEARING
Smaller than most smartphones, the Denon DS1 can easily slip in with your existing hardware as you go from venue to venue. The all-metal construction makes it very rugged indeed, so you can rest assured that if you spend your life out on the road, gigging on the regular, then your Denon DS1 is more than capable of taking the knocks and bumps that happen on tour.

Here at SBS we're playing it fair. Our delivery charges are calculated on-the-go depending on weight of the order and the price you pay is what courier companies charge us. Unlike our competitors - we don't earn that extra bit on every shipping, allowing us to have lowest possible shipping costs.
- Orders placed before 2pm UK time will be dispatched same day (subject to stock availability), orders placed after 2pm will be shipped next working day
- Expected delivery times are from 9am to 6pm, if shipped with courier option you will receive a text and email notification the day before delivery and then 1 hour window of delivery on the morning of delivery. If you need to ammend the delivery date or time or can respond direct to courier to re-arrange.
- If there is going to be a delay we will notify you by email within one working day of placing your order
- If an item is out of stock you will be notified within one working day of placing your order and you can decide whether you wish to wait for the item or to have a full refund. If a refund is required, this will be issued within one working day
