Allen & Heath was founded in 1969 in Cornwall (UK) where it is still based today. Allen & Heath, also known as A&H became a well-known brand after building the MOD1, a custom quadraphonic mixing console for Pink Floyd’s live performances and worldwide tours.

Since then Allen and Heath have introduced many key innovations to the mixer market including the first small mixer, the 6 channel MiniMixer and the CMC console which was the first console to use microprocessor, enabling MIDI integration capabilities. They were also the first manufacture to mount pots and switches on the channel circuit boards creating modular mixers where sub-system units could be replaced individually.

Now also a key player in the DJ mixer market, Allen & Heath’s critically acclaimed XONE range of mixers are widely regarded as some of the best DJ mixers around. Mainly due to their superior sound quality and legendary analogue VCF filters. Ranging from the smaller 2 channel XONE:23 right up to the industry standard, 4 channel XONE:DB4.
